John opens new Decathlon Store with Robbie Savage

Last weekend John joined ex premiership footballer and strictly come dancing favourite Robbie Savage at the opening weekend of Bolton’s new Decathlon store.

John and Robbie went head to head on a number of challenges throughout the store to celebrate the opening including table tennis, basketball and of course football freestyle!  John performed his award winning football freestyle skills and gave away prizes to those who challenged, the weekend was aimed at getting children more active and to try a new sport they would not usually do!

Chris Baggaley, store manager said; “It is amazing to get such great support from some of the most recognised names in sport from Bolton and across the UK.  The weekend did not only give shoppers the chance to meet the stars but also give them the chance to test out many of the sports Decathlon has at its new store.”
