John opens specialist sports facility with Gordon Banks
John was in Stoke for the launch of a brand new sports facility.
John and Gordon Banks visited Newcastle-under-Lyme College on Thursday 22 April 2010 to officially open the new £5 million Gordon Banks Sports Centre named in his honour.
The official opening event for the sports centre included a mini football tournament for local primary school pupils, coordinated by Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS). As an ambassador for Brazilian Socer Schools John performed for everyone involved in the launch.
